Depending on the size and type of your road barrier and its purpose you may need more or less GroundGrabbas per barrier.

Our GroundGrabba Pro is 12" long and made of heat treated carbon steel that has been galvanized. Using a high torque impact wrench you simply drive them into the ground. In harder substrates you may need to drill a pilot hole first using a masonry drill of at least 1/2" and 12" long. GroundGrabbas have spirals aka flights that extend out from the shaft for extra anchoring compared to conventional ground screws.

Perhaps the ground will be softer or you need greater anchoring ability? If so then look to the GroundGrabba Pro II. With double the length and double width flights the GroundGrabba Pro II screws deep and bites hard.

The GroundGrabba Pro II as above is made from steel but differs from the GroundGrabba Pro (made for general and harder grounds). The GroundGrabba Pro II is twice the length (24") and has twice the flight (spiral or blade) width for deeper and more solid anchoring in soft grounds or sand. In our testing they are the best sand anchoring of its kind. GroundGrabba Pro II is for the ultimate anchoring in soft sand or loose ground you will ever need.

The GroundGrabba Pro II is for sand, snow or soft to medium grounds for when really needing that extra grab; like for large tarps in high wind like you would experience at the beach of a summers afternoon or a summers afternoon storm.

The GroundGrabba Lite is or securing tents, tarps, canopies, or other outdoor shelters and structures in common sand, firm sand and loose soft grounds.
